This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, non-automotive manufacturer as the Plant Controller! You'll lead a small team and manage all accounting activities for the plant. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing, coaching and mentoring a small team in the accounting department
• Leading the site budgeting and forecasting processes
• Overseeing the cash flow process
• Completing financial analysis on a regular basis
• Extracting data and generating reports in the ERP system
• Leading the month and year-end closing process
• Completing journal entries and reconciliation
• Collaborating with team members to maintain and improve accounting processes
• Other duties as directed by management

Qualified candidates should be strategic minded, analytical, hands on, approachable and able to communicate at all levels.

REQUIREMENTS for the Plant Controller:

1. Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Plant Controller or Accounting Manager role in manufacturing

3. Budgeting and forecasting

4. Month-end and year-end closing

5. Strong financial analysis

6. Experience working with ERP systems

7. Microsoft Excel

Skills preferred but NOT required:

1. Supervision

2. Power BI

3. Payroll
