NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Nebraska.

Position: Cath Lab RN

Shift: 4x9s days, every other weekend and two week day nights of call

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• 2+ Years specialty experience
• NE or Compact license, BLS, ACLS
• ACLS, BLS

Facility Overview:

• Columbus is a 24,000‑population city in Platte County, Nebraska, with a diverse economy including agriculture, manufacturing, and healthcare, and lies about 85 miles NW of Omaha
• The facility is a nonprofit, community-focused medical center offering a wide range of acute and outpatient services. It has recently undergone substantial growth—modernizing facilities, expanding services, and gaining national recognition for rural healthcare excellence.
• Nonprofit, general acute-care facility with 47 acute-care beds, 4 skilled nursing beds, and 14 outpatient beds—all private rooms
• The cath lab unit is small, they are not expected to work in IR or OR capacity. Roughly two RNs and two CVTs at a time, with relatively low patient volume.
• For Call back, they are very rarely called back into the unit, maybe a couple of times on average across 13 weeks. Team is very welcoming and shares the load evenly in terms of on call, etc.

***Candidates will need to have a vehicle as there is no public transportation or ride share services for location.
