Job Description

A school district in Media, PA is seeking two full-time male paraprofessionals for the 2025-2026 school year. These positions provide essential support to K-12 students requiring behavior management and emotional assistance. Both roles are contract-based for the new school year, beginning September 2, 2025, through June 12, 2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule.

Position Details:

• Opening 1: 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, supporting one student by implementing behavior plans, assisting with de-escalation techniques, and providing emotional support.
• Opening 2: Full-time role with responsibilities similar to Opening 1, supporting one student with behavior plan implementation and emotional assistance.

Qualifications:

• Must be male applicants.
• Associates Degree required.
• Experience or training in behavior support and de-escalation preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and patience in working with students with special needs.

Responsibilities include directly assisting assigned students by following behavior intervention plans, facilitating emotional regulation strategies, collaborating with teachers and support staff, and documenting progress.
