We are seeking an experienced and motivated Staff Pharmacist to support daily compounding operations at our newly acquired compounding pharmacy in Baton Rouge. This is an exciting opportunity to join a patient-focused, innovative pharmacy team dedicated to providing high-quality compounded medications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to USP standards and best practices in sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Provide clinical and operational support to leadership and pharmacy staff
• Assist with monitoring daily compounding and operational activities and ensuring quality control practices are followed
• Collaborate with ownership and management to drive operational excellence and patient care
• Verify compounded prescriptions for accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• Research and develop new formulas and update existing formulas as needed for accuracy and appropriateness

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from accredited college of pharmacy
• Active Louisiana Pharmacist License in good standing (or eligibility to reciprocate)
• Minimum 1-3 years of pharmacy experience, with compounding background preferred
• Ability to complete accurate pharmaceutical calculations
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Position Highlights
Schedule: Monday – Friday (no nights, no weekends, no major holidays)

Type: Full-Time, Leadership Role
Salary: $128,000 – $145,000 (commensurate with experience)
