Job Description

Our client, a Fortune 500 organization in the transportation sector , is looking for a Senior C hange Manager to join their team onsite in Seattle. In this role, you’ll enable employees to successfully navigate organizational change by delivering structured, people-centric change management strategies and solutions.

THIS IS A 1 YEAR W2 CONTRACT POSITION.

Responsibilities

  • Lead change management efforts for large-scale initiatives, often involving organizational transformation
  • Conduct assessments, create detailed change plans, and design engagement strategies tailored to impacted audiences
  • Create change-related materials including communications and learning assets for internal use
  • Partner closely with project managers, sponsors, SMEs, and external vendors to ensure successful execution
  • Track project progress and regularly brief leadership on milestones, challenges, and resource needs
  • Manage a portfolio of change initiatives and align resources to meet project outcomes

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience leading change management efforts in a full-time capacity
  • Proven ability to apply structured change methodologies to complex business transformations
  • Strong skills in process identification and documentation
  • Comfortable delivering training and change support in both virtual and in-person environments
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Smartsheet (or willingness to learn)
  • Recent corporate experience (not-for-profit, academic, or government background less relevant)
  • Background in aviation or experience with highly regulated industries
  • Experience leading change in multi-phase, cross-functional transformation projects
  • Track record of introducing change management practices into organizations
