Our client, a renowned manufacturer in the precision metal stamping industry, is seeking a Sales Associate / Estimator to join their team. As a Sales Associate / Estimator, you will be part of the sales department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sales Associate / Estimator

Location: South Minneapolis, MN

Pay Range: $23 - $25/hr (Negotiable)

Schedule : 8:00AM - 4:30PM (optional overtime)

Position Type: 3 Month Contract-to-Hire

What's the Job?

• Compute cost and time factors, preparing accurate estimates in response to customer orders and RFQs.
• Identify potential vendors or subcontractors, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Review data to determine material and labor requirements.
• Consult with customers, vendors, and other individuals to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers, ensuring sales volumes and margins.

What's Needed?

• 2-4 years of experience in estimating material cost and labor.
• 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Strong math skills including decimals, fractions, and metric conversions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, purchase orders, and procedure manuals.
• Solid customer service/sales background.
