We are looking for a Polisher and Buffer to smooth and polish metal parts using hand grinders. You will also learn basic fabrication tasks like cutting metal, brake pressing, spot welding, and buffing. Occasionally, you'll help in assembly, packaging, and painting.
Use hand grinders to polish and smooth metal surfaces.
Learn and assist with metal cutting, brake press, and spot welding.
Help in other areas like assembly, packaging, and painting.
Maintain quality and accuracy in all work.
Basic mechanical skills (from work, school, or hobbies).
Experience with sheet metal and grinding.
Ability to read a tape measure and do simple math.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
At least 6 months in manufacturing.
Shop class experience (welding, automotive, woodworking, etc.).
Tuition reimbursement and welding certification opportunities.
Growth potential (lead or supervisor roles).
$0.50 raise after 90 days and more after direct hire.
Large, fast-paced manufacturing facility.

This is a permanent position based out of Anoka, MN.
The pay range for this position is $21.84 - $22.09/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
