As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in perform equipment receipt, inspection, repair, testing and packaging following the company’s quality standards, SOPs and safety guidelines. This position also disassembles PHEs, cleans and rebuilds to new standard. Currently, this is an on-site opportunity for Greer, SC. Responsibilities include receiving, counting, verifying, labeling and storing all parts; uncrating, removing gaskets, disassembling; handling glued gaskets with liquid nitrogen and chemical dip; filling out inspection reports and reading PLA/Drawings; performing dye penetration inspection; cleaning units and painting if specified; installing new gaskets per specification; assembling plates for plate packs or frames; communicating supply and repair needs; maintaining clean and organized work area following 5S standards; uncrating additional items for customers; handling customer supplied parts; picking up/delivering customer equipment as necessary; managing shipping, receiving, and distribution of equipment; and participating in daily ALPS meetings. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred experience in a manual shop environment, preferred experience operating forklifts, hand pallet jacks and overhead cranes, ability to use measuring devices, good hand-eye coordination, flexibility, and teamwork. Additional tasks include clocking in/out, scanning bar codes, and taking photos.
