Nemours Children's Health is seeking Pediatric Neurosurgeons to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida.
The selected candidates will manage congenital and acquired disorders of the brain, spine and peripheral nerves while working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, compassionate and family-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform a full range of pediatric neurosurgical procedures using modern surgical technologies
- Provide consultations in inpatient and emergency settings as needed
- Work closely with pediatric neurologists, oncologists, intensivists, radiologists, geneticists, and rehabilitation teams
- Provide clear and compassionate communication to families about diagnoses, procedures, risks, and care plans
- Engage in shared decision-making with patients, families, and care teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient safety and outcomes

Qualifications: - MD or DO
- Board eligible/certified in specialty
- Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
