The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is recruiting for a Nurse Reviewer (Registered Nurse, Senior RN) position in our Bureau of Long-Term Care (BLTC) team in the Twin Falls office. We are seeking an individual who is driven to make an impact to our patient’s lives. The Nurse Reviewer position is responsible for completing in home assessments with participants with a focus on remaining in their home environment. This position ensures quality management standards are completed. Additional responsibilities include working closely with health care providers, consultation, and liaison with the community. This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:

Assess each client's health, social, emotional, rehabilitative, and habilitative care needs. Observe facility staff and others providing services to clients. Conduct assessments document findings to ensure sufficient information is gathered on which to base compliance decisions. Use critical thinking skills and professional judgment to determine if the facility is meeting clients' needs in accordance with the stated regulations and health care standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. Licensed as a Professional or Registered Nurse in Idaho as defined by Idaho Code 54-1408 or state licensure as a Registered Nurse pursuant to the Nurse Licensure Compact, Idaho Code 54-1418.For licensure information, please contact the Idaho Board of Nursing at or call (208) 577-2476.
