What youll do

DocuSign is looking for a highly motivated Lead Front End Software Engineer to join our Product-Led Growth team under the product development organization. The Lead Front End Software Engineer will execute on all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the e-commerce and product-led growth applications. You will collaborate with team members to brainstorm, design, and implement new solutions, mentor engineers, and help improve team processes and engineering best practices. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a Staff-level engineer, lead projects end to end
  • Mentor senior engineers
  • Create user-focused experiences with React or Node
  • Help enhance Micro Frontend (MFE) infrastructure
  • Improve automated unit testing, platform stability, experimentation platform, and CI/CD
  • Collaborate actively with stakeholders

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation). Docusign reserves the right to change a position\s job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.

What you bring (Qualifications)

  • Basic BS degree in CS or equivalent work experience
  • 12+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of Product development experience building large scale web applications
  • Experience coding and designing in React, Next.js using TypeScript

Preferred

  • Experience building a React component library
  • Well versed with web application secure coding practices
  • Passion for learning and working with new technologies
  • Experience designing and developing highly scalable consumer-facing web applications
  • Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for components used across products
  • Inclusive and accessible user experience mindset
  • Experience with internationalization/localization
  • Experience working with Headless CMS like Contentful

Compensation and Benefits

Wage Transparency: Pay for this position is based on geographic location and may vary based on knowledge, skills, and experience. California range: $177,900.00 - $287,425.00 base salary.

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel eligible; non-sales roles may be eligible for a company bonus plan
  • Stock: Eligible for Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
