Salary: $17-$17.50

To be responsible, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, for overall cleaning and light maitenance of the apartment community.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. 
   Routine cleaning of all public areas including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, common restrooms, community rooms, office and other common areas.
2. 
   Daily policing of grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, and other common areas.
3. 
   Routine cleaning of all public area floors, including mopping, buffing, and vacuuming.
4. 
   Assist in the preparation of vacant units, including cleaning and minor maintenance repairs.
5. 
   Assist maintenance staff in completing minor maintenance repair, as needed.
6. 
   Be available for emergency and after-hours work, as required.
7. 
   Assist in grounds work as necessary.
8. 
   Emphasize good resident relations in all contacts with residents and guests.
9. 
   Perform all other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. 
   Willingness to pitch in and work as a team member.
2. 
   Ability to follow both oral and written instructions from the Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
3. 
   Neat and professional in appearance
4. 
   Personable and trustworthy
5. 
   Adherence to work safety program
6. Physically able to perform all duties that may be required, including but not limited to, lifting, climbing, standing, bending, loading and unloading, and working outdoors in inclement weather.
