Job Description

• Duties and Responsibilities*
• Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and industrial customers.
• Travel to job sites in service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
• Document accurate records of services provided during calls.
• Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the provided work vehicle.
• Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
• Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer's recommendations, and explain fully what any issues are and what is needed to correct them.
• System Start-Ups and Owner Training of HVAC Systems as required.
• Education, Skills, and Qualifications*
• Three to Five years experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC service issues.
• EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification
• Basic Knowledge of Computers
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items, carry ladders, work from heights, and work in small crawl spaces as needed.
• Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Salary and Benefits*
• Up to $40/hour dependent upon experience
• Full Family Benefits and Pension, total compensation package up to $68/hr
