The Manson Northwest Webster School District is looking for a French Foreign Language in our 7-12 building. The MNW Jr/Sr High School building is located in Manson, Iowa. We are 30 minutes east from Fort Dodge and about an hour and a half north of Ames.

Job Summary

To facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district and state approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes ; addressing specific educational needs of individual students by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment at school; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Must have good communication skills, be flexible, and patient.
• Strive to build strong and positive relationships with assigned students and families
• Knowledgeable of the MTSS framework
• Develops and administers approved curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
• Develops lesson plans to maximize learning opportunities in order to meet the needs of all learners
• Provides meaningful feedback of student learning, and differentiates instruction to meet individual needs.
• Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction that are aligned to building and district goals.
• Organizes and maintains accurate records, grades, and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance as required by district procedures and applicable laws.
• Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops or professional meetings, or by conducting research.

Certification Requirements

5-12 Foreign Language - Iowa Board of Educational Examiners

Manson Northwest Webster Community School District (MNW) is located in northwest Iowa and covers parts of Calhoun, Webster, and Pocahontas counties.
