About the job: Director of Restaurant Operations Our client's company operates 5 casual theme restaurants, including 4 food and beverage outlets on Martha's Vineyard and 1 in Falmouth, MA. We are also considering a $3.5 million expansion for a new café brewery restaurant. The Director of Restaurant Operations will be responsible for all aspects of restaurant profit and loss, strategic planning, business and marketing strategies, hiring, training, employee certification, evaluations, menu development, service standards, ordering, new concept development, and maintaining guest and employee satisfaction standards. This role reports directly to the CEO. Compensation and Benefits The salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, negotiable, based on a 40-hour workweek, and paid according to the company's payroll practices. An annual incentive bonus is available based on performance goals. Reasonable company-sponsored housing will be provided until September 2022, with a review of salary and housing conditions in September 2022 based on performance. 401(k) plan available after one year of service, with company matching up to 3%. Medical and dental insurance are available after 90 days of continuous employment, with the company covering up to 75% of the costs. A Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) reimburses part of medical deductibles. Two weeks of vacation are granted in the first full year, with accrual starting after six months of employment, subject to prior approval for early use.
