Co-op - Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) - Spring 2025 - Latham, NY Are you interested in an co-op opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in 3-6 month paid intern opportunities at our site in Latham, NY. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company. Your role: Assist with safety audits, inspections, risk assessments and documentation, recordkeeping in the EHS management system. Support incident investigations and corrective action implementation. Help maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements. Collect and analyze safety and environmental data to identify trends. Support sustainability initiatives and waste reduction programs. You're the right fit if: You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering or Biological Sciences. Understanding of basic OSHA, Cal OSHA, EPA, and other EHS regulations. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. How we work together: We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an office role. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Latham.
