About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Technology and Data Officer to play a pivotal role in its modernization and regulatory efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing information, data, and analytic strategies across all core functions. This includes leading the delivery of best practice technology, IT operations, information architecture, and security functions, as well as executing digital solutions that align with the company's vision and strategic direction. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in executive-level positions, particularly in the areas of data, analytics, and technology, and a strong focus on customer outcomes and continuous improvement. Extensive experience in leading and managing large, energized teams, change management, and a background in serving a geographically dispersed field workforce are also essential. The Chief Technology and Data Officer will be at the forefront of driving industry-transforming change, and as such, must be a people-centric leader with a flexible, agile, and dynamic approach. To excel in this role, candidates should possess thought leadership in data, analytics, and technology, and have a history of leading and delivering large projects within a government agency. The position requires a leader who can cultivate an innovative, growth mindset culture, and who has the ability to foster agility, collaboration, and high performance within the team. Tertiary qualifications in IT, data analytics, or a relevant discipline, with post-graduate qualifications being advantageous, are also a key requirement. The Chief Technology and Data Officer at the company will be part of a forward-thinking organization that is dedicated to reducing the compliance burden on the heavy vehicle transport industry, fostering strong partnerships, and using data, technology, and innovation to achieve its regulatory objectives.
