About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the development, expansion, and maturation of its information security policy and strategy. The CISO will be responsible for establishing a high level of understanding and attention to information security within the institution, working collaboratively with leadership and technical staff to raise awareness of security risks and solutions. This role involves strategic planning, policy development, and management of a robust information security office. Candidates for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a graduate degree, and a proven track record of domain expertise in information security. Essential qualifications include a strategic grasp of security at both institutional and operational levels, exceptional communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse community. The CISO will be expected to have a broad knowledge of computer security issues, and experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures. Integrity, high standards of conduct, and the ability to influence and collaborate to achieve security objectives are also key requirements for this role.
