Overview Banking Associate - PT 20 Hrs. (Clarendon Wilson) at TD. Work Location: Arlington, Virginia, USA. Hours: 20 per week. Pay Details: $23.75 - $31.00 USD. Line Of Business: Personal and Commercial Banking Responsibilities Performs a wide range of tasks across multiple Store areas, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services. Provides end-to-end advisory support: build trust with educational content & tools, offer consultative assistance, and provide proactive insights and recommendations. Uses TD systems to engage with customers, acquire and deepen relationships, and provide advice to attract and retain customers. Identifies customer financial needs to promote products/services, or refer to the appropriate team member, ensuring a positive customer experience. Completes everyday banking transactions on teller lines or platforms, educating customers on products and tools or referring to the appropriate expert. Supports customers on teller lines and platforms, handling personal deposit accounts, everyday transactions, card issues, digital banking, and regulatory considerations. Engages in lead management activities to create/manage self-generated leads and referral leads, and to schedule and host appointments as needed. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED 1 year of experience working with customers (volunteering, education, or military experience can be considered) Demonstrated customer service skills preferred Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled Teller experience preferred; must complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office; Notary License preferred Customer Accountabilities Provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD products Establish and nurture customer relationships with product knowledge and needs-based conversations Manage wait times and assist with scheduling appointments with a Banker Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries and activity coordination Ensure compliance with TD’s customer service strategy and risk controls Complete required compliance training and respond to audits and regulator requests Comply with the TD Code of Conduct Employee/Team Accountabilities Contribute to a positive team environment and TD culture Engage in performance development and act as a brand champion Collaborate with team members and seek improvements in delivery of work Support career development and adapt to change while upholding TD commitments May train and mentor newer colleagues Physical & Travel Requirements Desk-based tasks with occasional travel as needed; frequent sitting and standing; ability to handle multiple tasks; standard office equipment operation; physical demands align with typical banking roles.
